Zachary Keck, Wallace Tsoi Obituary, Death – Two men tragically lost their lives in a serious crash that occurred late Saturday night in Elkton, Maryland, according to a report from the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Fairview Road at around 11 p.m. on July 26 after receiving a call regarding a motor vehicle accident. When law enforcement and emergency responders arrived on the scene, they discovered a severely damaged 2024 Jeep Wrangler.
Initial findings from the scene indicated that the crash occurred when the vehicle’s driver failed to navigate a curve properly. As a result, the Jeep left the roadway, drove into a nearby field, and rolled over several times. The violent overturning caused fatal injuries to both occupants of the vehicle, who were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Authorities later identified the victims as 42-year-old Zachary Keck of Princeton, New Jersey, who was behind the wheel, and 41-year-old Wallace Tsoi of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who was the passenger. Both men were traveling together when the incident took place.
Preliminary information from the ongoing investigation suggests that excessive speed played a significant role in the crash. However, the full circumstances surrounding the accident are still under review as investigators work to piece together the events leading up to the deadly rollover.
The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is currently overseeing the investigation. They are working to determine if any additional factors may have contributed to the crash, such as road conditions, driver impairment, or mechanical failure. As of now, no other vehicles appear to have been involved in the accident.
