Northern Lancaster County Regional Police confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle and a sedan. Witnesses living nearby told News 8 that they saw the motorcycle lying on the ground close to the street and observed significant damage to the front of the sedan. They also reported seeing two individuals, believed to have been on the motorcycle, lying on the ground following the crash.

Both individuals who were riding the motorcycle were taken to a hospital for emergency treatment. Police later confirmed that one of the riders succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The condition of the second motorcyclist has not yet been released.
