Kenneth Tillery Obituary, Death – A man who had been reported missing in Oklahoma City was found dead on Sunday near Fort Cobb Lake, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
The case began when the Oklahoma City Police Department received a missing person report for 60-year-old Kenneth Tillery early Sunday morning. His disappearance triggered a search effort involving multiple agencies.
Later that same day, a game warden from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation discovered a body near Fort Cobb Lake in Caddo County. The local sheriff’s office then requested help from the OSBI to assist in the investigation and handle the scene.
OSBI agents, working with the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the area and processed the scene where the body was found. The remains were then transported to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office for official identification and further examination. The body was later confirmed to be that of Kenneth Tillery.
The exact circumstances of Tillery’s death remain unclear. However, the OSBI has described the situation as suspicious. Authorities have not yet shared specific details about what makes the death appear suspicious, and they are waiting for the medical examiner’s report to determine the official cause and manner of death.
Investigators are now seeking the public’s help to gather more information that might shed light on how Tillery died and the events leading up to his discovery. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the OSBI either by emailing tips@osbi.ok.gov or by calling their tip line at 1-800-522-8017. Tips can be provided anonymously.
The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as new details become available.
