Brittany M. Reed Obituary, Death – A woman from Foley lost her life in a single-vehicle crash that took place in Morgan County on Monday, as confirmed by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The victim, identified as 29-year-old Brittany M. Reed, was behind the wheel of a 1999 Toyota Corolla at the time of the incident. Authorities reported that around 5 p.m., Reed’s vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. According to state troopers, she was not wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred and was declared dead at the scene.
The fatal accident happened on Gum Pond Road, close to the intersection with Martin Road. This location is situated approximately four miles southeast of Ryans Crossroads, a rural area in Morgan County.
Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine what caused Reed’s vehicle to leave the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
