Aiden Frazier Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, a tragic motorcycle accident in the Village of Shadyside, Ohio, claimed the life of one person and left two others injured, including a juvenile. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s St. Clairsville Post confirmed they are actively investigating the deadly collision, which occurred at the intersection of Shadyside North and East 34th Street.

Authorities reported that the crash happened when a 2025 Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle, driven by 21-year-old Aiden Frazier of Bellaire, Ohio, was heading northbound on Shadyside North. At the same time, a 1994 Ford Ranger, driven by a juvenile with a licensed adult passenger, was traveling southbound. The truck attempted to make a left-hand turn onto East 34th Street when it collided with Frazier’s motorcycle in the intersection.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, but despite their efforts, the crash proved fatal for Frazier. He was transported to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, where he later died from the injuries he sustained.

The occupants of the Ford Ranger also suffered injuries from the crash. The driver, a juvenile whose identity has not been released due to age, was treated along with the passenger, 73-year-old Eric Gartner of Shadyside, Ohio. Both were taken to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital. Fortunately, their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening, and they are expected to recover.

Multiple emergency units assisted at the crash site. Among them were OR&W EMS, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, Shadyside Police, Braden’s A1 Towing, and Naylor Bros. Towing, all working together to manage the aftermath of the accident and ensure the area was secured for investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed that the crash remains under investigation. Investigators will be focusing on what factors may have contributed to the collision, including road conditions, vehicle speeds, and whether any violations occurred during the attempted left-hand turn.

For the small community of Shadyside, the crash has left a deep impact, as residents process the loss of a young man and the circumstances that led to such a tragic outcome. Friends and family of Aiden Frazier are now mourning his passing, while law enforcement emphasizes the importance of driver awareness, particularly at intersections where serious accidents are more likely to occur.

Officials have not released information regarding potential charges in connection with the crash, as investigations are ongoing. They did confirm, however, that once the inquiry is complete, all findings will be turned over to the appropriate authorities to determine if further action will be taken.

The accident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers motorcycles face on the road. With little protection compared to larger vehicles, motorcyclists are especially vulnerable in crashes, particularly those involving intersections where visibility and timing play critical roles in safety.

As the investigation continues, the Ohio State Highway Patrol urges all drivers—whether operating motorcycles, cars, or trucks—to remain cautious, patient, and alert when navigating intersections to help prevent tragedies like this from occurring in the future.
