Omarion Bryant Obituary, Death – Authorities are continuing to investigate a tragic incident that occurred at Virginia State University (VSU) over the weekend, which left one person deceased and prompted a large police response. Law enforcement officials are now seeking a 19-year-old Dinwiddie County resident, identified as Keyjuan Creighton, in connection with the case.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, the incident took place shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, near the 20900 block of Third Avenue, close to the VSU Multipurpose Center. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered 20-year-old Omarion Bryant, also of Dinwiddie County, who had sustained multiple injuries. Despite emergency efforts, Bryant was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he was not a student at the university.

On Thursday, October 9, officials announced the arrest of 19-year-old Jalen Johnson, a resident of Prince George County. Johnson has been charged with accessory after the fact to homicide and is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond as the investigation continues.
