On Thursday, October 9, officials announced the arrest of 19-year-old Jalen Johnson, a resident of Prince George County. Then, on Friday, October 10, Chesterfield Police released additional details naming Keyjuan Creighton, also 19, as another suspect linked to the event. Creighton is described as standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a distinct tattoo across the front of his neck. Authorities said he often goes by the nickname “Trell” and is known to frequent the 300 block of Appomattox Street in Hopewell.
Investigators have obtained a warrant for second-degree murder in connection with Bryant’s death. Police have also cautioned that Creighton may be armed and have urged members of the public not to approach him if spotted.
