DODGE COUNTY, NEBRASKA — Authorities have identified the victim of a Friday night crash near Scribner as 37-year-old Dilrabo Azizbekova of Omaha, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 275 and 91, about two miles north of Scribner. Officials said the incident involved multiple vehicles and left six people injured, including the victim.
According to DCSO, Azizbekova was driving a Subaru eastbound on Highway 91 when the vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 275. The Subaru then collided with a southbound Buick, and both vehicles subsequently struck a Chevrolet, authorities reported.
Azizbekova was transported to a nearby hospital following the crash, where she later died. The Subaru was carrying additional passengers: one adult and three juveniles. All were taken to area hospitals and received treatment for injuries.
The driver of the Buick was also hospitalized but suffered only minor injuries. Authorities said the occupants of the Chevrolet were uninjured.
