TRAVELERS REST, SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning involving a tractor-trailer.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Devin Glenn Tipton, a Greenville resident.
According to officials, the call reporting the crash came in at approximately 5:55 a.m. The incident took place on N. Highway 25 Bypass near Roe Ford Road in Travelers Rest.
First responders arrived quickly and found Tipton in the roadway. Despite efforts to provide assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office confirmed that his cause of death was blunt force trauma.
