The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday afternoon in Allen County. According to a news release, troopers from KSP Post 3 responded to a reported collision in the 2800 block of KY 100, also known as Franklin Road. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene after reports of a serious single-vehicle crash.
Preliminary findings from investigators indicate that a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Toni Hudson of Hendersonville was traveling eastbound on Franklin Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree. Authorities have not released additional details about what may have led to the vehicle exiting the roadway.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office pronounced Hudson deceased at the scene. Officials confirmed that family members have been notified.
Kentucky State Police stated that the investigation remains ongoing as troopers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, no further information has been made available.
