Authorities in Clinton report that one man has died and another was injured following a two-vehicle crash on Friday morning.
According to the Clinton Police Department, officers responded around 6:52 a.m. to a collision on N. Charles Seviers Boulevard near Bland Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that a red Suzuki Vitara, driven by 21-year-old Landon Brooks, was traveling westbound when it crossed the median and collided with a gray Chevy Silverado traveling eastbound.
Police confirmed that Brooks was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Silverado sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
