Authorities have identified the man who died following a shooting connected to a neighborhood dispute on the Southeast Side of San Antonio, Texas last week. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim has been identified as Jose Reyes, 28.
Police say the incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. last Thursday near the 200 block of Lyric Street. Officers were dispatched to the area after reports of gunfire connected to a dispute between neighbors. When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a man later identified as Noah Flores, 24. According to investigators, Flores came outside without a weapon and was taken into custody by responding officers.
