Skylar Scott Obituary, Death – A fatal single-vehicle crash in Nashville on Saturday night claimed the life of 32-year-old Skylar Scott, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. The incident occurred on Clarksville Highway in the 4900 block as Scott, a resident of Whites Creek, lost control of her SUV while traveling north. Her vehicle veered off the roadway into an embankment and rolled over multiple times. Tragically, Scott was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
A passenger traveling with Scott sustained minor injuries. Police reports indicate the passenger had urged Scott to reduce her speed shortly before the accident occurred. Emergency responders transported Scott to Skyline Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. Authorities noted that neither Scott nor her passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
To further investigate the circumstances, toxicology testing will be conducted to determine if impairment contributed to the accident.
