Robert Wayne Breedlove Obituary, Death – The Shasta County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the man who died in a crash off Dersch Road on Friday night, November 22. The incident occurred near Leopard Drive at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday, when the driver of the vehicle crashed and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the driver, 72-year-old Robert Wayne Breedlove, from Shingletown, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Authorities confirmed his death at the scene, and the Coroner’s Office has scheduled a postmortem examination.

The CHP and Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigations into the cause of the crash. Preliminary reports suggest that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the incident, though this has not yet been confirmed.
