James Michael Osmus Obituary, Death – A tragic bicycle accident in Black Mountain Ranch on Friday night resulted in the death of 60-year-old James Michael Osmus, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. in the 15700 block of Camino Del Sur. Osmus was riding westbound in the bike lane when he collided with a westbound Volkswagen sedan driven by a 50-year-old woman. The driver immediately called 911 and attempted lifesaving measures on Osmus.
Despite her efforts, first responders pronounced Osmus dead at the scene. The medical examiner’s office has classified the incident as an accidental crash.
