Michael Carroll, Camry Lee Obituary, Death – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the second victim of a double homicide that occurred on Thursday, confirming the death of 19-year-old Camry Lee from Pinson. Lee was found fatally shot in the 4400 block of 41st Place North and was pronounced dead at 7 p.m. on the day of the shooting.

Earlier, 20-year-old Michael Carroll was identified as the first victim of the double homicide on Monday. Authorities had initially reached out to the public for assistance in identifying Lee, and the confirmation of his identity was made public on Tuesday.

Birmingham police responded quickly to the crime scene, where they detained two persons of interest in the area shortly after the shooting. The investigation revealed that a stolen vehicle was recovered from an abandoned house nearby, though further details on its connection to the crime have not yet been released.

Both persons of interest are currently being held in the Birmingham City Jail on 48-hour felony extensions for murder, as investigators continue to probe their involvement in the tragic deaths.
