Jerome J. Ozovek Obituary, Death – Jerome J. Ozovek, a 67-year-old man from Buckingham Township, Bucks County, has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Monday morning on the Tatamy off-ramp from Route 33 in Palmer Township. According to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek, Ozovek died as a result of a medical event, which led to the crash. The incident took place around 10:45 a.m. when Ozovek, who was driving a single vehicle, lost control of the car, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn.

The Pennsylvania State Police, represented by Trooper Nathan Branosky, confirmed that the vehicle veered off the ramp and subsequently rolled over. Despite efforts to resuscitate Ozovek, he was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner’s office determined that the cause of death was a natural medical event, and no foul play was suspected in the incident.

The authorities have confirmed that the crash was caused by Ozovek’s medical condition rather than any external factors like road conditions or speeding. The investigation is still ongoing, but the authorities have stated that the crash was a tragic outcome resulting from natural causes.

This incident has also raised questions about the role medical conditions can play in driving safety, as Ozovek’s sudden medical event caused the crash, highlighting the unpredictable nature of certain health-related emergencies while behind the wheel.
