Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Cudahy early Tuesday morning as 17-year-old Joseph Tapia. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Tapia was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, which occurred around 12:58 a.m. in the 4400 block of Clara Street, near Atlantic Avenue.
In addition to Tapia, another victim, a 15-year-old, was also injured in the incident. While details about the younger victim have not been disclosed, reports indicate that the teenager is in critical condition.
