Bryan, Chambers Obituary, Death – The Columbus Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed the victim’s identity as Sonny Chambers. According to Bryan, the shooting resulted from a domestic dispute in which Chambers was allegedly shot by his stepson.
The incident took place in the 7300 block of Sorrel Court, as reported by the police on their social media channels. Chambers was found at the scene and was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m. by the coroner.
At this time, there has been no information regarding any arrests, and the Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the case.
