Kevin Saurez-Rodriguez Obituary, Death – A tragic pedestrian accident on West 21st Street in Lorain resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man, identified as Kevin Saurez-Rodriguez. The incident occurred Monday evening near the State Route 611 split.
According to the Lorain Police Department, Saurez-Rodriguez was struck around 5:40 p.m. by a westbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 21-year-old man. Emergency medical services arrived promptly, but Saurez-Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities noted that neither speed, alcohol, nor drugs appeared to have contributed to the crash. However, rain was cited as a contributing factor due to hazardous weather conditions at the time.
