Robert Romig Obituary, Death – A fatal crash occurred early Monday morning in Snyder County, leading to the death of a 47-year-old man. According to State Police, the accident took place along Route 11 in Monroe Township, near Selinsgrove.
The crash happened when a pickup truck, which was heading north on the road, crossed over the concrete median into the southbound lanes. The vehicle then struck a curb before ultimately colliding with a utility pole.
The driver of the truck, identified as Robert Romig, 47, from Selinsgrove, was seriously injured in the crash. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from the injuries sustained in the incident.
State Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash, though they have not released further details as of now.
