Carlos Cardona Acosta, Jossue de Leon Villegas Death News – Two men who tragically lost their lives in a fatal two-vehicle collision in the Valinda area were identified by authorities on Thursday. The victims, Carlos Cardona Acosta, 23, and Jossue de Leon Villegas, 21, were declared dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office.

The accident took place around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, at the intersection of Temple and North Azusa avenues. The incident involved a Jeep, allegedly driven by an impaired driver, which collided with another vehicle. The crash resulted in three fatalities. Two of the victims died at the scene, while the third passed away at the hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Authorities have not yet released the name, age, or gender of the third victim.

Footage captured at the scene by KeyNews.TV showed the Jeep overturned on its side, while the other vehicle, a Nissan Versa, sustained significant damage and was covered with a tarp. The video also depicted law enforcement officers taking a woman into custody.

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune later identified the suspect as Yasmin Flores Magana, 24, from La Puente. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The incident remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine further details about the crash and the victims involved.
