Randy Culpepper Obituary, Death News – The Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of 59-year-old Randy Culpepper from Jonesboro. The accident occurred early Sunday morning, January 19, 2024, just before 6 a.m. on Siloam Church Road, east of Highway 505.
Culpepper was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram eastward when his vehicle veered off the road for reasons that remain unclear and collided with a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although toxicology samples were collected as part of the investigation, authorities do not currently suspect impairment as a factor in the accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
State troopers emphasized the importance of safe driving practices, urging drivers to avoid operating vehicles while impaired, fatigued, or distracted. They also reminded the public to adhere to traffic laws and consistently wear seatbelts to reduce the risk of serious injury or death in the event of a crash.
