Christopher Lee Morris Obituary, Death – The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has identified 37-year-old Christopher Lee Morris of Little Mountain as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday in the Chapin area.
The incident took place on Westwoods Drive, in the 400 block, and involved Morris’s 2016 Ford Explorer SUV. According to Coroner Margaret Fisher, Morris was traveling west when his vehicle veered off the left side of the road. The SUV struck an embankment and overturned. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Morris was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident. Despite the safety measure, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
