Authorities in Horry County have identified three individuals who lost their lives in a tragic crash involving a log truck in the Bucksport area on Monday morning.
According to the Horry County Coroner’s Office, the accident occurred on Highway 701 near Pee Dee Highway when a Dodge pickup truck collided with a log truck. Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard confirmed that all three occupants of the pickup truck died at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was identified as 56-year-old Larry Dean Capps, who was last known to reside in Myrtle Beach. The two passengers in the vehicle were 47-year-old Crystal Ward of Loris and 38-year-old Bobby Gathings of Conway.
