Demaricus Kensie Obituary, Death – A collision in St. James Parish on Wednesday night resulted in the death of a man from Donaldsonville and left a juvenile injured.
The Louisiana State Police have identified the deceased as 37-year-old Demaricus Kensie.
According to investigators, Kensie was traveling east on LA 70 when his 2019 Jeep Wrangler veered to the right and overturned after leaving the roadway around 8 p.m. It was reported that Kensie was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
A juvenile was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities indicated that a standard toxicology sample will be collected for further analysis.
The investigation into this tragic accident is still ongoing.
