Preliminary findings indicate that Joseph was walking north along the highway when a Toyota Camry approached the intersection in the right lane. Officials report that Joseph stepped into the car’s path in an area without a designated crosswalk. As a result, the vehicle struck her, leading to severe injuries.

Emergency responders transported Joseph to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
