The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 34-year-old Michella Lynn Dickerson. The incident occurred on the night of March 28, just before 9:30 p.m., at the intersection of 36th Street and Avenue E.
Emergency responders rushed Dickerson to UAB Hospital, where she remained in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries the following day, on March 29.
