Allan Roquemore Obituary, Death – A man who was fatally shot outside a group of downtown bars early Saturday morning has now been identified as 32-year-old Allan Roquemore, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. His cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound, and his death has been classified as a homicide.
San Antonio police said the incident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of North Alamo Street, where a row of popular nightlife spots is located. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Roquemore lying in a nearby parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Roquemore and the suspected shooter were walking in the area when they began speaking with one another. According to police reports, the conversation quickly escalated into a heated argument. At some point during the exchange, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot Roquemore. After firing the fatal shots, the gunman fled the area on foot.
As of Monday evening, the shooter had not been located, and authorities have not released a description of the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are continuing their efforts to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for Roquemore’s death.
