Jacob Riley Diehl Obituary, Death – A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday morning on Dalewood Drive in Winston-Salem, according to local authorities. Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of Dalewood Drive at approximately 2:10 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, they discovered a man, later identified as Jacob Riley Diehl, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were also called to the scene and attempted to revive Diehl with life-saving efforts. Despite their attempts, Diehl was pronounced dead at the location shortly afterwardAt this time, police have not released any information about a possible suspect or motive in the case.
