At the time of the accident, Miller was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash was reported to emergency services by a passerby who called 911 at approximately 9:23 p.m. When first responders arrived on the scene, Miller was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.
