According to the police department, McCray has been charged with multiple offenses, including assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and illegal possession of a weapon by a juvenile.

Despite being underage, McCray will be tried as an adult in connection to the shooting, police officials confirmed.

Peaches Corner, located at 900 N. Ocean Boulevard, is a popular dining spot in Myrtle Beach, often frequented by locals and tourists alike. The shooting has shocked the community, particularly given the young ages of those involved.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department has assured the public that this appears to be an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the community. However, the event has raised concerns about violence among youth and the accessibility of firearms.
