Nicholas Phillips Obituary, Death – Officials have identified a man killed after a weekend crash in the Midlands. Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece said 27-year-old Nicholas Phillips died after a crash Sunday morning on Bush River Road near Rocky Creek Road.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Phillips was driving a 2014 Nissan when it veered to the right and struck a sign. Phillips was the only person inside the vehicle and died at the scene.
