Angel Olguin Obituary, Death – A deadly shooting in west Phoenix early Wednesday morning has left a 19-year-old man dead and a teenage suspect in custody, according to Phoenix police. The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. near 84th Avenue and Pioneer Street, just south of Lower Buckeye Road. Police were called to the scene after reports of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of 19-year-old Angel Olguin, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after the incident, police identified a teenage suspect believed to be involved in the shooting. The teen, whose name has not been released due to their age, was taken into custody without incident.

Following an interview with detectives, the teen was booked into the Maricopa County Juvenile Correctional Center. Authorities say the suspect is facing charges of murder and several other felonies in connection with the shooting.
