Aliyah Williams Obituary, Death – Police in the Bronx are investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl who was fatally stabbed on Tuesday afternoon. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at around 4 p.m. at 3511 Boston Road. When officers arrived, they did not find any evidence of a shooting, but instead discovered a teenage girl suffering from multiple stab wounds to her head and body. The victim was later identified as Aliyah Williams.
Emergency medical personnel rushed Williams to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police believe the attack followed a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect. The suspect, according to witnesses, is a female who was last seen wearing all black clothing, white sneakers, and a red or pink durag or head covering. After the stabbing, she reportedly fled the scene on foot.
At this time, no arrests have been made. Authorities have not released a motive for the attack and are continuing their investigation. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage and speaking to potential witnesses in hopes of identifying and locating the suspect.
The NYPD is asking anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
