ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A Pennsylvania man lost his life early Sunday morning following a motorcycle crash in Allentown, Lehigh County. According to police, the fatal accident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on the 300 block of Tilghman Street.
Allentown Police responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 25-year-old man from Allentown lying unresponsive on the roadway. Authorities said the motorcyclist had been traveling eastbound on Tilghman Street at a high speed when he collided with a car attempting to make a U-turn.
Emergency medical responders rushed the motorcyclist to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, where he was later pronounced dead around 8 a.m. by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Daniel Buglio confirmed the man’s death but stated that his name would not be released immediately in order to allow his family time to grieve in private.
Police have not provided additional details about the car driver or whether any charges might be filed. The investigation remains ongoing.
