Andrew Lemus, Anthony Angulo Obituary, Death – Authorities have released the identities of two men who lost their lives in a fiery two-vehicle collision in Granada Hills. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed on Monday that the victims were 19-year-old Andrew Lemus and 24-year-old Anthony Angulo.

The deadly crash occurred early Sunday morning. According to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene at 12:49 a.m. The accident took place in the 11500 block of North Zelzah Avenue, located just north of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway.

When emergency crews arrived, they found that at least one of the vehicles involved in the collision had caught fire. The severity of the crash and the subsequent blaze made the rescue efforts particularly challenging for first responders.

Andrew Lemus, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. The second victim, 24-year-old Anthony Angulo, was transported to a hospital for treatment but sadly succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

At this stage, authorities have not released information regarding the men’s cities of residence. Furthermore, the cause of the collision remains unknown. Officials have not yet determined what led to the crash, and no additional details about the events preceding the collision were immediately available.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and other local agencies are continuing their investigation to better understand how the tragic incident unfolded. Part of that effort will likely include examining the vehicles involved, analyzing the crash site, and gathering potential witness statements or surveillance footage from nearby locations.

For now, the families of Lemus and Angulo are left grieving the sudden loss of their loved ones. The fatal crash also serves as another stark reminder of the dangers that can arise on the roadways, particularly during the overnight hours when visibility is reduced and driving conditions can vary.

Authorities are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses. In the meantime, the community mourns the deaths of the two young men and awaits further updates about the circumstances surrounding this devastating crash.
