Angel Capers Obituary, Death – The Berkeley County Coroner has released the identity of the person who was killed in a shooting that took place Monday in the Summerville area, near Cane Bay in Berkeley County.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Angel Capers, a resident of Summerville.

According to a statement from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened on Grand View Crossing. Deputies were dispatched to the scene shortly before 3:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found Capers suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts, Capers was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner’s Office.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Authorities have not released any details regarding possible suspects or a motive behind the shooting. The sheriff’s office noted that the case remains under active investigation, and additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
