Angel Guadalupe Ramirez Obituary, Death – El Paso police are investigating a New Year’s Day stabbing that resulted in the death of a teenager and left a woman seriously injured in a Northeast home. Angel Guadalupe Ramirez, a 17-year-old Andress High School student, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital following the attack. A 39-year-old woman, whose name has not been disclosed, was also severely wounded.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on January 1, when a man attempted to force entry into a residence on Hollyhock Drive, near Sun Valley Drive and close to Andress High School. Both Ramirez and the woman suffered multiple stab wounds during the assault.
Ramirez’s sister described him as an innocent and loving family member on a GoFundMe page created to help cover funeral expenses. The investigation by homicide detectives is ongoing as they work to uncover more details surrounding the tragic event.
