Angel Mendoza Obituary, Death – A violent incident at a Bronx playground Tuesday evening resulted in the death of one teenager and left another injured, according to police. Authorities say the stabbing happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the Williamsbridge Oval Playground, located in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx. Officers arrived at the scene to find two teenage boys suffering from stab wounds.
A 17-year-old victim had been stabbed in the stomach and shoulder. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
The second victim, a 14-year-old boy identified as Angel Mendoza, had suffered multiple stab wounds across his body. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack, and authorities have not released any information about possible suspects. The motive behind the stabbing remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
