Antonio Adolfo Vasquez Death, Obituary News – Delaware State Police have confirmed the identity of the man killed in a hit-and-run incident that took place on Friday night just outside Wilmington. The victim, 36-year-old Antonio Adolfo Vasquez from Trenton, New Jersey, was struck while walking on Augustine Cut Off, located south of Alapocas Drive, at approximately 11:30 p.m.
According to authorities, Vasquez was walking southbound along the road when a car traveling in the same direction struck him. The driver of the vehicle, after hitting Vasquez, fled the scene without stopping to provide assistance. Emergency responders arrived soon after but pronounced Vasquez dead at the scene.
At this time, Delaware State Police have not provided a description of the suspect vehicle involved in the incident. They are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information about the vehicle or driver to come forward.
