Beatrice Desir Obituary, Death – The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a tragic triple homicide following a stabbing incident that occurred Friday morning.

Authorities reported that officers responded to a call about a stabbing around 8:59 a.m. in the 200 block of Bellarthur Lane. Upon arrival, investigators discovered multiple victims with severe injuries.

Medical personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene, but despite their efforts, three individuals—two juveniles and a woman—were pronounced dead at the location. During a press conference, Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden confirmed the deaths.

Officials stated that there were other witnesses inside the home at the time of the attack who saw what happened.

The deceased woman was identified by police as 77-year-old Beatrice Desir. Authorities have not yet released the names or ages of the juvenile victims.

A suspect was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing. Police identified him as 26-year-old Mackendy Darbouze. He is facing three counts of first-degree murder and is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Investigators have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The case remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the violent attack.
