Beltazar Antonio, Stefhany Reconco-Rosales Death News – Authorities in Miami-Dade County have identified the victims in two separate hit-and-run crashes that occurred over the weekend, each resulting in tragic fatalities. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed the details of both incidents, emphasizing that investigations are ongoing as officers work to locate the drivers responsible.

The first incident occurred early Sunday morning, just before 5:30 a.m., on the 3400 block of Northwest 32nd Avenue. Victim 26-year-old Stefhany Reconco-Rosales was struck by a four-door Cadillac Escalade while walking in the roadway. Emergency dispatchers reported the crash as a pedestrian hit, prompting immediate response from fire rescue personnel. According to authorities, the driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid, leaving Reconco-Rosales critically injured.

Fire rescue crews were captured on camera administering chest compressions and performing life-saving measures before placing her on a gurney and transporting her to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, Reconco-Rosales succumbed to her injuries, highlighting the devastating consequences of hit-and-run incidents. Deputies noted that the Escalade involved is a model produced between 2014 and 2020 and may have sustained front-end damage during the collision.

Just a few miles away in Southwest Miami-Dade, a second fatal hit-and-run occurred around 5 a.m. on the 2100 block of Southwest 187th Avenue. Authorities discovered the body of a young man, later identified as 22-year-old Beltazar Antonio, lying in the roadway. Preliminary investigations indicated that Antonio’s death was also the result of a vehicle striking him, followed by the driver fleeing the scene. At this time, investigators have not released a description of the vehicle involved in the Southwest Miami-Dade crash, and officers are seeking any information from the public that could help identify the suspect.

Both cases have left families devastated, grieving the sudden loss of loved ones in circumstances that could have been preventable had the drivers remained at the scenes and called for help. Miami-Dade law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about either crash to come forward. Tips can play a critical role in locating the vehicles and identifying the drivers responsible for these tragic incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office has emphasized that hit-and-run collisions are serious criminal offenses and that they are actively working to pursue justice for both victims. Authorities also reminded the public of the importance of safe driving and the legal and moral responsibility to stop and render assistance if involved in an accident.

As investigations continue, deputies are reviewing surveillance footage, canvassing the areas for witnesses, and gathering evidence to identify the drivers involved in both fatal crashes. Law enforcement continues to seek information on the Escalade involved in the Northwest Miami-Dade crash, as well as any leads regarding the vehicle responsible for Antonio’s death in Southwest Miami-Dade.

These tragic incidents underscore the severe consequences of hit-and-run crashes and the urgent need for drivers to act responsibly. Both cases remain under active investigation as Miami-Dade authorities work to bring accountability and justice for the victims and their families.
