Bobby Andrew Peak Obituary, Death – The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the man who died in a crash involving an Amazon delivery truck on Monday afternoon. According to officials, the incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Pacolet Highway. A 2008 Lexus was traveling west when an Amazon delivery truck attempted to make a left turn into a driveway in the 1000 block of the highway. During the turn, the truck collided with the oncoming Lexus.
The passenger in the Lexus, identified as 61-year-old Bobby Andrew Peak of Union, tragically lost his life in the crash. Authorities confirmed that Peak was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the impact. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
