A deadly traffic collision early Tuesday morning resulted in the death of a man from Effingham after a crash involving two vehicles on a rural highway in Shelby County, authorities said. Illinois State Police reported that troopers were dispatched to the scene of a serious crash on a section of IL-32 near the community of Stewardson. Officers arrived shortly after receiving reports that a passenger vehicle and a large commercial truck had been involved in a collision.
