Brenden J. Holland Obituary, Death – Norfolk Police are investigating a deadly single-vehicle accident that took place early Sunday morning and resulted in the death of a local man.
According to officials, the crash happened around 4:00 a.m. on June 15. Officers were called to the 1500 block of Terminal Boulevard following a report that a vehicle had struck a tree.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found the driver, identified as 19-year-old Brenden J. Holland of Norfolk, inside the vehicle. Sadly, Holland was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The circumstances that led to the crash remain unclear, and the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Fatality Team is actively working to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and crash into the tree.
Investigators have not yet released any details about potential contributing factors, such as speed, road conditions, or impairment. The investigation is ongoing, and police are expected to release additional information as it becomes available.
