Brian Sepe Obituary, Death – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on July 10 as Brian Sepe, a 34-year-old resident of Clovis. The fatal accident happened around 2:35 p.m. at the intersection of DeWolf Avenue and South Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Authorities report that Sepe was driving a Subaru northbound on DeWolf Avenue when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection with South Avenue. As a result, his vehicle collided with a Ford, which was traveling eastbound on South Avenue and had the right of way, as there is no stop sign for traffic on that road.
The driver of the Ford, a 55-year-old man from Parlier, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Sepe was pronounced dead at the site of the collision.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, and investigators said there is no indication that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
