She was driving a Toyota Corolla when the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. The crash happened at approximately 5 p.m. on Gum Pond Road near Martin Road, which is located about four miles southeast of Ryans Crossroads in Morgan County.
Authorities confirmed that Reed was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
