Charles Espinoza Obituary, Death – An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Greeley early Wednesday morning following a dispute with another man, according to the Greeley Police Department.

The incident occurred just after midnight in the 700 block of 15th Street. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and, upon arrival, found the young man unresponsive. According to authorities, the victim had been involved in an argument with a man who was seated in a sport utility vehicle (SUV). During the heated exchange, the man in the SUV fired several gunshots, hitting the victim multiple times.

Bystanders at the scene attempted CPR on the victim before emergency responders arrived. Despite their efforts, the victim was transported to the Northern Colorado Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Following the investigation, Greeley police identified the suspect as 42-year-old Charles Espinoza. He was located and arrested without resistance. Espinoza is now facing a charge of first-degree murder and is being held at the Weld County Jail pending further investigation.
