ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — Authorities have identified the man who died after a two‑vehicle collision on Ash Road early Monday morning, Jan. 26, St. Joseph County police say.
According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office, 54‑year‑old Christopher Jacks of Osceola was driving when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a Ford F‑150. Officers who arrived at the scene found Jacks deceased in his vehicle.
The driver of the Ford F‑150 was not reported to have serious injuries and remained at the scene. Police have not released information about any charges or citations as the investigation continues.
Law enforcement officials say road and weather conditions may have been factors in the crash, and they continue to review details as part of the ongoing investigation.
