Clarence Hoover Obituary, Death – A fatal crash in Simpson County, Kentucky, is under investigation by both state and local authorities. The incident occurred on Friday, prompting a response from Kentucky State Police Post 3. Authorities were called to the scene, located at 1400 Cedar Bluff Road.
According to the initial investigation, Clarence Hoover, a 32-year-old man from Scottsville, was driving a 1998 Freightliner semi-truck along Cedar Bluff Road. While traveling, Hoover’s truck veered off the left side of the roadway and then rolled over onto its driver’s side. During the rollover, Hoover was partially ejected from the vehicle.
Despite efforts to assist, Hoover was pronounced dead at the scene by the Simpson County Coroner’s Office. Local agencies, including the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office, Simpson County Fire Department, and the Simpson County Coroner’s Office, provided support during the response.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and the Kentucky State Police are leading the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
